The Barrio Latino, what is it?
Just a stone's throw from the Bastille Opera House, the Barrio Latino welcomes you in a building dating from the end of the 19th century, of 3,500m2, spread over four levels connected by a huge staircase. Colourful and warm, it is known for its originality and its New Orleans Latino version atmosphere. There's nothing like it to make you feel out of place. You can go there for a romantic evening as well as for a drink with friends.
On the ground floor is the cocktail and tapas bar. Overlooked by a huge bay window, it overlooks the dance floor. For a more hushed atmosphere, cross the room and go to the Bar Rouge. At 11pm, sunny music resounds to the rhythms of DJ Carlos Campos.
On the cocktail side, the Barrio Latino offers a well-stocked menu that will take you on a trip to Latin America.
On the first floor, the restaurant, in a warmly coloured Argentinean decor, offers a culinary journey through South America. Discover the chicken quesadillas or the Churasco, for the standards, but also the beef Picanha or the Del Pollo à la Cubana.
On the second floor, discover the Cuban Bar and its collection of cigar rings, for an atmosphere like in Havana.
Then, access the top floor by the elevator: the VIP lounge opens its doors to you in an intimate and cosy lounge.

The Barrio Latino is, however, a relatively expensive place. However, you should know that it does Happy Hour on cocktails on certain days of the week and that the tapas bar is a good compromise if you choose one of the trays on offer.
